Production Scope

DC led a comprehensive rebranding initiative for the California Tobacco Control Program, including the renaming of UNDO and development of new brand standards designed for consistent application across all media. As part of the process, we conducted an extensive five-day road trip across California to capture documentary-style photography, focusing on authentic, human moments and real people in their everyday environments.

The commissioned illustrations which appeared on the UNDO website were an intentional contrast to the photo imagery. Conceptualising the impact of the tobacco industry's harm and deception.

The product photography focuses on dirty used tobacco products shot in environment and also in studio on different tabletops with an intentional harsh lighting treatment.

UNDO is a California Department of Health program designed to counteract the damaging social and environmental impact of the tobacco industry on our society. UNDO shines a light on Big Tobacco's lies and inspires Californians to speak out and put an end to their deadly influence.
